The 2014 Veterans Day Parade – Susan’s and Darla’s Big Day

What a day! As you can see, it was perfect weather for the 2014 Veterans Day Parade in New York City.

Darla had a blast meeting celebrities, having her picture taken and walking in the parade. Below is the American Humane Association Float that Susan and Darla were part of during the parade.

Here is the iconic representation of the most famous kiss taken when the GIs were returning from WWII.

Ice-T, who was an Army Ranger and his wife, Coco Austin, were on the float. Coco Austin took a liking to Darla. She is holding her during this interview.

While waiting for the float these two gentlemen asked if they could take a picture of Susan and Darla.

Of course then they switched cameras.

The bands were amazing and Darla wanted a tummy rub so badly. It didn’t matter how many dogs were near, she wanted that tummy rub.

Darla and Butler, The Weather Channel Therapy Dog and his friend Rusty, the Golden Retriever who is a famous dog actor became close buddies.
