It was a wonderful day spent with Battalion 668 on Saturday July 17. It is such an honor to meet active duty soldiers and be able to say, “thank you for your service”.

We never know where they have been and how many times they have been deployed. Many have spent time in Iraq and/or Afghanistan or somewhere else in the world.

Most of us don’t realize the challenges they have when they deploy and when they come back. We just know we are grateful to them.  They appreciate our dogs and they are always smiling and happy when we are around.

Every time we do an event like this, we are filled with such gratitude. Thank you to our service men and women who protect us.
