Although our visiting has been severely restricted because of the COVID pandemic, we are doing our best to continue our work through virtual visits and in person visits following CDC guidelines. Examples are recent visits at Dominican College in Blauvelt and with the National Guard. It’s been a difficult year for HVPaws as it has been for everyone! We are still participating in online programs. One of our favorites is the Dominican College in Blauvelt. We still manage to have fun virtually ZOOMing for DeStress. It isn’t the same as touching our furry members, but the love remains the same.

It isn’t the same as touching our furry members, but the students all agreed that seeing the sweet faces, some dressed in holiday outfits, was fun and entertaining. They heard stories about each member and learned about their favorite pass times. (like chasing squirrels!)
National Guard, New Windsor
We weren’t sure what was going to happen, but we were anxious to meet the soldiers and thank them for serving our country. We were able to socially distant and bring joy and entertainment to the National Guard of the 99th Readiness Division.
