Hudson Valley Paws for a Cause Joins Anti-Bullying Walk
On Friday, May 2, 2014, the Paws for Kids teams (part of Hudson Valley Paws for a Cause) were invited to participate at West Point in their Anti-Bullying Walk. The Anti-Bullying Walk is an event sponsored by the ACS (Army Community Service) Anti-Bullying Program.
This was a day where the kids talked, created artwork, watched skits, walked and enjoyed the company of the Paws for Kids dogs and their handlers. It was an anti-bullying message day focused on positive ways to learn how to deal with the bullying issue.
We had a wonderful day!
Our dogs walked proudly with the children. It was a fun time where the kids were able to better understand to “Be a Buddy Not a Bully!
Seamus got his very own Be A Buddy Not a Bully custom made T shirt.
Daisy loved the attention…a big hug followed after a lot of petting.
Hunter and Daisy taking a break.
Kizzy enjoyed a scratch on the head.
And looked spiffy in his American Red Cross bandana.
Here’s Murphy getting lots of attention and pets too.
